NFC and digital business cards for South African teams
Taplink makes branded NFC and QR business cards for South African and Namibian companies with teams of 10 or more. A tap or scan opens the cardholder's profile on the other person's phone with no app needed, and you update every profile from one admin portal. Cards cost a one-off R399 each for 10 to 49 people, falling to R249 each from 250, plus R90 per card a year, including VAT.

Do NFC business cards work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Modern iPhone and Android phones read an NFC tap out of the box. For older phones, the QR code printed on the card does the same job. There is no app to install.
Do the people I share with need an app?
No. The recipient taps or scans the card and your profile opens in their browser. They can save your full contact details in a single tap.
Can the cards carry our company branding?
Yes. Every card and every profile carries your company branding: logo, colours, and a consistent layout across your whole team.
How many cards can we order?
Anything from a single team to thousands of employees. We provision cards in bulk from your staff list, so onboarding a large group takes minutes.

Yes. We design, encode, and ship cards across South Africa and Namibia.
Can we update a card's details after it is printed?
Yes. Profiles are managed centrally, so when someone changes role or number you update it once and the cards already in wallets keep working with the new details.
What happens if someone loses their card?
You unassign it from the portal, which stops that card showing their details. If you hold spare stock your administrator assigns a spare to them the same day, and if not you order a replacement from the portal.
Is there an annual cost for each card?
Yes. Hosting and the admin portal are R90 per card a year, separate from the one-off price of the card itself. That covers the profile staying live and being editable after the cards are printed.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. There is no monthly fee per user. You pay once for each card, then R90 per card a year for hosting and the admin portal. For a team of 50, that is R17,450 for the cards and then R4,500 a year, including VAT.
